Greece's Lost City Kayak: Epidavros Underwater Wonders

We had a great time on a memorable tour led by Olivier, who did an excellent job. He knew his facts and history. My wife is a Greek archeology buff and enjoyed talking with him. He was very approachable, caring and took time to talk with each of the three couples on the tour. October is a bit cool for cold wimps like me and my wife, but we decided to snorkel over the sunken city for as long as we could stand it. Unforgetable.

The sea kayaking experience was a highlight of our trip to Greece. Exploring the relics of the centuries-old settlement while snorkeling in the crystal clear water was an experience we will always remember. The day was cloudy and a cool 67 degrees in October, but the sea was still warm enough to swim in for the time it took to explore.

Communicate was good. History of the area was a nice addition to the area. Very helpful with the working of the kayak and snorkel equipment.

Alex is just what you want in a guide, perfect! His knowledge, wisdom & soulful values makes everyone feel safe and important. His assistant Christina is equally committed to giving everyone a valuable experience. This tour contains so much in 6 hrs, yet is easy paced & fun. If you only have 1 day in Epidaurus this tour is perfect.

This is a must do if you are in Epidavros. The submarines ruins, the theatre, the snorkeling with sea turtles... Everything was wonderful and enchanting. Special thanks to the guides, they are lovely, they did a perfect job and they are very careful to give you the best day possible.

We booked this excursion quite last minute, nearing the end of our vacation, and when we had decided to spend a couple days in Nafplio. As it turned out, it was a beautiful highlight of our 3 weeks in Greece. We booked the 6 hour kayak tour, which included a walking tour of the old theatre and some incredible excavation efforts in the old town, a snorkel swim with turtles (3 of them) and a swim around the Sunken ruins. Our guide, Oliver, was so informed and kept us engaged with info on all sorts of local paraphernalia… from medicinal plants, to fruit trees, a local who harvests invasive urchins and fish, and interesting stories, Greek history and mythology. Oliver kept us busy all day, but was very considerate of our physical abilities (65 & 62) and gave us many opportunities to rest and reboot lol Our refreshments and lunch, homemade by the owners mum, were great too. I would highly recommend this beautiful day tour in this most special corner of the world.

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I have been on numerous snorkeling and kayaking trips all across the world and none of them have come close to this. Our toor guide/owner Alex was so amazing and showed us so much but most of all made us feel so welcome. This is a not to miss and if you are in Greece, you must consider doing this.

Amazing experience! Since the beginning, the organization has been perfect (thanks Dimitra for being so kind :-)) and the experience itself was just great. We had a first part of the tour with a group and all the guides were very kind and well prepared. The, since we had chosen the long option (which is definitely worth), our family had a private tour. Our guide, Alex, is such a nice person, we really enjoyed sharing thoughts and talks with him, and he gave us the opportunity of swimming with sea turtles, above the breathtaking Sunken city and tasting his mum delicious food! We would give this tour 6 stars if possible!

Wonderful and very safe experience, in few hours that seemed to pass very quickly. We had kayaking, walking around ancient city, snorkeling above sunken city and not the least the chance to snorkel with the turtles. Wonderful experience for us and for the three of our girls (11, 9 and 7yrs old). This was a magnificent experience that we will remember in our lives. We would like to mention the high profesionalism, organizing and knowledges shared by the aPanExpedition team members (Dimitra, Alex and Beca-our amaizing guide!).
